Professor and PepsiCo Chair Professor of Consumer Science
Michel Wedel is Distinguished University Professor and PepsiCo Chair Professor of Consumer Science in the University of Maryland. Hi has the Charles C. Parlin Marketing Research Award from the American Marketing Association and he has been ranked First Marketing scholar in the world based on number of A-publications (2006). His main research interest is in Consumer Science: the application of statistical and econometric methods to further the understanding of consumer behavior and to improve marketing decision making. Much of his recent work has measured the effectiveness of visual marketing using eye-tracking technology.
