Teaching at Universidad de Oviedo from November, 1999. She doctored at the same institution in 2004 and from 2009 she is an Associate Professor of Marketing. She has participated in several national and international conferences and published the results of her research in journals such as: European Journal of Marketing; Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing; Journal of Business Research; Journal of Marketing Channels; Revista Europea de Dirección y Economía de las Empresa; Revista de Economía y Empresa, Estudios sobre Consumo and Technovation, amongst others.
Her papers fit with her research topics, centered in Commercial Distribution, Relationship Marketing, Internal Marketing and Innovation, as well as Regional Commerce as a member of Seminario de Estudios de Comercio de Asturias (SECA).
